New 45-tonners

The new 45-tonners are being delivered.  Saw some at my LHS.  VERY nice--run very slow and smooth.  There is provision underneath the airtanks for a mini-speaker for future sound installation.  Go buy!

Good Evening All,

      I picked up my two 45 tonners today and am very pleased with them.    They are geared for very slow speed running,  so a 99% throttle setting on my Digitrax system provides a speed,  at best,   25% of what a road engine would do.   While a bit on the small and light side,  these engines should be a fine addition to any railroad,   assuming that they are used for what they are intended and not to pull 20 car trains.
      For what it is.....Bachmann has a winner!!
