Last month we were told they were "Shipping" but as of today 8/14 where i work has not received them yet. We had recived a shipment not long ago after the announcements but none of the new items were in it. I heard a reason why we hadn't gotten them, but since its been a month shouldn't that problem have been resolved?(I only know of that becuase i handle Bachmann Trains at the shop)

And on a side note....in the descriptions the one is marked "Green and black" yet the photo shows red and green....whats the true colors....the description or the photo as none of them match up?

Tower Hobbies has shown them as "on order" for 6 months, they don't even have the right Bachmann part numbers.  I have 4 of the yellow/silver on pre-order with Caboose Hobbies, they weren't even aware of them until I told them.

Mr B. answered the color question in another thread, but I don't remember what he said.  I guess what we get is what we get.

I called Caboose Hobbies, the cars just showed up in their database this week. I asked  if they had them on order, he said "No".  Now I was taught to never ask "why?", so instead said "What's the problem?"

Apparently several people have special ordered them, which might be a clue that they should be stocked.  They could only give a delivery date as "undetermined".  

If I stood around waiting for all the stuff I need, I would probably grow roots.

i put em in the system where i work the day of the announcement. and right now i have em set for "coming august 2008". which i have to try and update that section of the site to be more accurate...we're current expanding the store and i'm rarely at my desk because i'm helping with it.  (i'm paying for it too....ooooohhhhhhh my aching back & knees!)

Like I've said i have 12 on order, but now the more i think about it the more i only really need 8 but may take all 12 anyway.

Originally I wanted 4, but remembering I already have way too many cars, I think 2 will be fine for my small layout so I changed my order.

I only buy from two sources, best price from one is $21.00, which seems ok considering all those seats.
