Anyone know if I can use the Bachmann DCC system to control turnouts while I still use the standard DC to power locomotives?

You would have to disconnect the decoders in the turnouts from the rails and connect them to your command station/booster via a separate bus.  This would avoid having both DCC and dc connected to the rails at the same time, which is a real no-no.  I don't have any Bachmann turnouts available to see what modifications would be necessary inside the turnout.  Perhaps someone else has had the opportunity to take one apart.
