Spectrum 8-40

I have an older Spectrum GE 8-40 and I removed the shell to oil the gears and ond of the pieces of metal that are connect to the lights came off would this be covered under the warrenty?

I don't know, but by the time you pay postage and the $15.00 is it worth it.  I think I would try to fix it myself.

dam your lucky you even have one , i all was wanted a bachmann dash 8-40c but now i must get atlas(not that it maters, i just wanted a bachmann one for the collection )

It would not be covered, and, as Ram said, you'll be better off soldering it yourself. Alternatively, a local hobby shop should be able to help.
