Atlas Turn Table

Just thought I'd comment on this, I got real ambitious and bought an atlas turn table and round house model kit got it all put together and running then thought I wonder if I can DCC the table. So I used one of those cheap bachmann 1 amp decoders to control the table and it works just fine.

Most small 12 volt DC motors should work well with DCC. Verifying the DC current would be useful to make sure you do not over heat the decoder. If the decoder is exposed, no shrink wrap, there will probably be enough convection cooling.
