Other Brand Locos on EZ-Track

I was looking to add some othe locos to my collection when I noticed that in many forums people said that EZ-track only worked with Bachman products.  Is this true?  I was especially looking at some Atlas locos.

You can run any HO locomotive from any HO manufacturer except Marklin on EZ Track.

The confusion may be that Bachmann EZ-Track only works with Bachmann EZ-Track, and no other locking roadbed track - like the Atlas version.  But as stated, any HO or 0n30 locomotive or car will run on EZ-Track - with the excetion, of course of the German AC locomotives.

Compatability was the whole reason NMRA fas formed 74 or so years ago--to set standards so that various makers' products would be interchangeable.  Any product with that "Football" seal will be interchangeable .  Check their site:  www.nmra.org     gj
