I know and understand Acela is Amtrak, but who prefers Amfleet or the American Bullet Train?
And,
Union Pacific vs. BNSF, tell your favorite and why, or suggest your own railroad or your favorite, This topic was made for you to show your favorite railroad(s)!

Anyone in his right mind would have to say that the best railroad was the Nickel Plate Road, followed by the N&W (regardless of the merge), but by NO means the NS.

The regional's IMHO are somewhat more appealing than the Acela... I see these whenever I'm in South Station, and the AEM7's seem more rail than the Acela Express Trainsets...

Whats SFSP? I've heard of SPSF which became to be known as "Shouldn't Paint So Fast"
PRRThomas11- "The Standard Railfan of the World"

SPSF was a proposed merger between Southern Pacific and Santa Fe. I don't remember why, but the merger never happened. Some locomotives were still repainted though.

The SPSF merger never happened because the ICC struck it down as a violation of antitrust laws.

Really, I heard it was because SF couldn't find the money to buy SP, and SP backed out. Still, you can find SFSP engines, some say SF and some say SP, but never SFSP...
they are the yellow and red warbonnet engines.
Technically, it did exist, but didn't, oh well, SF turned into BNSF anyway...
