Check the label on the box. Or check the product specifications listed for the Bachmann Item Number.

Bachmann uses the trademarks DCC On Board ^TM and DCC Sound On Board ^TM if there is a decoder installed. However, all Bachmann locomotives with a decoder installed can be run, without modification, using a DC power pack. The sound units are best if used with a DCC system.
