It is not a DOUBLE TRACK TURNTABLES,  but two turntables that over lapped  like a figure eight pushed together and serving two roundhouses.

I noticed that, I was just commenting that it would be interesting to see double track turntables.

In 1986, a Southern Pacific and Milwaukee Road turntable was operational since 1945, but on 1986, It was damaged by a earthquake, SP never fixed it, and MR, they lost ownership when SP stopped allowing MR to use it...
