Here is the beginning of my first attempt at scratchbuilding. This is going to be a municipal building. I intend for it look like poured concrete. It's made from styrene yard sale signs from Family Dollar and some windows and doors from my parts bin.

So now I ask for your comments and suggestions. Right now it is just sprayed with grey primer.

I think this is a very good start.

I would recommend a kit that is a small trackside structure. Laser cut - easy and quick - most come with good hints on building and approach to painting.  In wood and/or Plastic so that you see how they handle roofs,  corners and openings and painting.

Keep up the work - knowledge is gained by working experience.

You need some help in getting the image codes inserted into your post.  The link needs a (img) tag at the beginning and a (/img) at the end.

At Photobucket, under the image you want, click the bottom line that says "img code".  When it highlights, it is automatically "copied" to the clipboard.  In your post position the cursor on a new line and hit the keyboard shortcut combination "Ctrl V" which will paste the code correctly.  You can alternately right click the mouse and select "paste".  For me the shortcut is much quicker and keeps my hands on the keyboard.

I think you are trying to use the "insert image" button at the top and it is unnecessary as Photobucket already has the proper tags in the img code.

Just get it working first, then if you want the image centered we can work on that later. It's not necessary to center, just looks neater.

Unless you plan on posting a lot of pictures you are better off to keep all your images in the main album, which in your case is "prebres".  You have a subalbum called "scratchbuilt" but you left a space between the two words.  This causes the code to automatically generate the "%20" in the album name.  It's ok, just makes it a bit more complicated to work with and remember.

If you do elect to remove the space, you may have to just delete the subalbum which will also delete your images, then add the subalbum and upload again.  Or, if you elect, you can upload to the main album to keep it simple.
