Is there a manual way to turn the volume down on the Spectrum 2-8-0 with tsunami sound.

You'ii have to go into the CVs in order to adjust the volume.

The EZ Command can mute the sound.  For variable, you can get a tiny potentiometer at Radio Shack.  Wire it into the speaker leads.  Just tell the clerk you need a tiny volume control for a 4 ohm speaker.  Just takes a small hole in the tender to mount the pot.

You could also put a piece of tape over the speaker holes on the bottom.
