Turnout Directional Switches

Has anyone ever replaced the directional switches  (the ones that the green wire plugs into) that come with Bachmann turnouts? Does something like a DTDP switch work?

A DTDP switch will work as long as its momentary or you will burn out your coil. You may want to try an Atlas turnout switch.
