I agree that Duck, Diesel, and Oliver are important along with possibly Daisy and Boco. Toad, the red coaches, china clay trucks, flat wagons, and the breakdown train are also a great importance on my list. Let's hope Bachmann can add to the already amazing 2010 list or make another great one next year.

Actually if you think about the breakdown train, I don't think it has a good chance of going into production with the thought of Rocky. He basically replaced all breakdown trains.

Rocky would be less of a seller though. Most people would need to buy two Breakdown trains in order to have a complete set, thus getting Bachmann more money.

Rocky didn't stop Learning Curve and Take Along from doing breakdown trains either.

Pretty sure the breakdown crane was already made in the learning curve range before Rocky was even thought of....

But I do agree with this, the more older stuff they do such as classic engines and rolling stock, the more money Bachmann would make.

When you put a face on something, though, it will sell. Rocky seems to be on the LC wish list for kids over the breakdown train, so why isn't it the same in some cases with Bachmann Thomas items? I emphasize kids with this. Kids also get Bachmann Thomas stuff, so I would think the same. I would be happy with a breakdown train. Rocky would also be alright.

Personally, I can see Diesel and Rosie as being likely to be produced, especially as both are still quite prominent in the show.
