3 Truck Shay Light Voltage

I'm installing a Soundtraxx 3TSLC in my HO 3 Truck Shay, but am not clear on whether resistors are needed for the head and tender lights to prevent burning them out.  Can anyone help?

Roger:
The decoder you mention plugs into the factory circuit board, which already has the resistors on it. So, no need to add more.
