Okay, here's a new challenge:

You need to know who made it, how old it is, and where it is when this photo was taken (1997)

Hmmm, A littke bit of research goes a long way. (HOPEFULLY)

Rogers 2-4-2t, 1894?

TonyD

Ha. MY guess was going to be Porter 1895, wrong on both counts!!! ... going back in the layout room and pout for a few hours....

You're right Scott, the Boston and Maine shop guys took ugly classes in night school.....This was one of the Sullivan County- of New Hampshire- RR's 1909 Atlantics,#44 I bet, was very clean, plain, Santa Fe or B&O looking machines, by the time the B&M finishe with it-who like the New York subway system, had more mechanics than train crews, well, hey, all this extra steel put more weight on the drivers right?....the class was j-1? j-1-a? I call it a class in plumbing school when the teach was out of the room.... one good thing, TTBOMK, they last longer than anybody else's 4-4-2's.....by like an extra 20 years....

Naw, I just posted a picture because it looked cute, and thought everyone would enjoy it...
What is it? Who made it? Who bought it? Who still uses it?

That's an EMD RS1325 belonging  to the Chicago & Illinois Midland.  There were only 2 built in 1960 - C&IM 30 & 31.  I don't know where it is today though.
