Any chance of seeing the metroliner come back?

I was wondering the same thing, with the E60 being re-released. The shells they have from the 70's are fine, they just need a new paint job (the old one was pretty toyish). The chassis will need some retooling, as Bachmann cannot in their right minds release them with pancake motors again. I just hope Bachmann remebers to paint them in Penn Central and Pennsylvania as well as Amtrak.
On another note: Imperial Hobby Productions is coming out with Metroliner Cafe and Parlour cars, hopefully within the year, although it's hard to say for certain. I just hope Bachmann comes out with their Metroliner coaches by then so I can just buy the IHP shell and mount it on the hopefully better-running Bachmann chassis. If not, I'll have to track down an old one and repower it (not an easy task if you want prototypical speeds).
