GS4 smoke generator

Greetings,
  I just bought the HO GS4 American Freedom Train for grandson but only has DCC instructions. He also has the HO GS4 Daylight Special with user instructions. Question is: does the DCC American Freedom Train have a smoke generator?
  Additionally, are Daylight instructions applicable for both models?

Hi Duke,

Only the GS4 locomotive in the Daylight Special set has a smoke generator, the DCC American Freedom Train version does not. The Daylight Special set locomotive does not have DCC capability, but if operating on DC, the instructions should otherwise be the same.
