Adding More Power

I am building a 6x10 layout with multiple turn outs and a lot of track.  I have one terminal track.  How do I know if I have enough power to energize the Whole track?   I bought a left and right cross over that I put in the back and they are not operating properly.  I was wondering if they don't have enough power.  Can I add another terminal in the back and run a wire from the front terminal to the back?   I sort of new, so I'm not that smart yet.  I am using EZ track and a EZ track DCC plus controller.

I would try that first.
If you are going run a lot of locos and turnouts, you might consider Bachmann's E-Z Command booster which would give you 5 amps compared to the 1 amp E-Z Command unit.
Feel like a Mogul.

Testing voltage with a multi meter is The way to see if you're getting enough voltage in the rear of the layout or not.

When you add another terminal track make sure that you don't get the polarity mixed up where you'll have a short circuit.
