Ho Scale Hi-Rail Maintenance Of Way Truck Motor Issue

Greetings Modelers
I have a Hi-Rail truck that recently started seizing up on me, I took it apart and started testing it. I got the motor to spin freely, but upon assembling the wheels back onto the chassis the motor stopped again. I inspected everything, the gears the chassis the motor, heck if I spin the motor everything spins freely so I think the motor doesn't have any more life in it to run the truck.
Today I called the parts department and they told me that they don't have any motors for the trucks, and the representative told me to take it to the forums to hopefully find someone whom knows of a motor that fits.

Id really like to get her back up and running so if anyone has suggestions or information about it Id really appreciate it.

Appears to be the same motor. You'll have to swap out the universal connectors for the gears from the hi-rail.

You may have to shorten the motor shafts a bit with a Dremel cut off disk.
