Wires pulled out of connector from tender to engine

My grandson bought a Ho 4-4-0 American with wood load (DCC ready Central Pacific #60 Jupiter and the wires pulled out of the connector from the tender to the engine. Can I send that back to Bachmann to fix?  Can you get another tender plug with wires?
