I was given a bachmann train set but no instructions. About 35 straight pieces, 24 curved with 5 switch tracks and just wondering about the track layout?

Just about anything you can think of. You could use a search engine to look for "Bachmann EZ-Track Layout Plans" to get some ideas what you could do with those pieces.
