Dynamis setup and range extension upgrade

The included diagrams are what I used for installing four E-Z Command 5 AMP Power Boosters to the E-Z Command Dynamis DCC system. For every 50 to Ft of track one Bachmann E-Z Command 5 AMP power booster is fitted and the 50 Ft track section is isolated with track insulated rail jointers.

Wireless infrared receiver range upgrade:

Cut the Bachmann E-Z Command ® Dynamis ® Wireless receiver cable D in half or one end longer than the other. Attach a RJ45 8P8C CAT 6 Modular Plugs Network Cable Lan Connector End Internet US on each of the cut ends, ring out both harness for continuity wire by wire.

NOTE: No substitutions with RJ45 8P8C CAT 6 Modular Plugs Network Cable Lan Connector.



Connector B RJ45 8P8C, Nickel Plating; TIA/EIA 568-C.2 Verified; RoHS compliant. Network Speed: up to 10 Gbps.

Attach cable A and cable D together using Connector B.





Wireless infrared receiver placement:

Equipment used:
3M Command™ Picture Hanging Removable Interlocking Fasteners, 5/8" x 2 3/4" medium strips.
Place fastener strip on the back of a wireless receiver, place fastener strips on the walls as shown in the diagram 2"x 6" pattern. With an engine running on the track, walk around moving the wireless receivers around until the dead spots (no signal) are eliminated.
