Williams Union Pacific Passenger Sets, any experts out there?

Hi all! first post here, and it's a two parter!

1: I just bought the UP gray Madison set #SM301, four cars #'s 2540, 2543, 2544, 2545. Does anyone know the year of manufacture or any expansion / compatible cars out there?

2: I may get the UP Streamliner set 85110 (per the listing). Same question does anyone know the year the set was produced and any expansion / compatible cars?


Access to a catalog database has so far eluded me. Any help would be great thank you!

I checked in my Williams catalog library, and this is what I found:

The UP Gray Madison set SM301 was offered in the Fall 2000-Winter 2001 catalog. It was only offered as a 4 car set.  I saw no option for add-on cars. I also checked my 2008 and 2009 catalogs, and saw no information regarding this set.

In these same catalogs, I also looked for the UP Streamliner set you referenced.  I don't find the 85110 number.  What I did find was this in the 2008 and 2009 catalogs:

Item # 43163: 4 car set (1 baggage, 2 coaches, 1 observation)  These are 72 foot streamline
Item # 43113: 2 car add on (2 coaches)

In the Fall 2000-Winter 2001 catalog:

Item #STR4016 (Union Pacific 72 foot Streamliner)- 5 car set (1 baggage, 2 coaches, 1 vista dome, and 1 observation
No additional cars offered for Union Pacific.

hi! thanks for your DD. i'll always keep an eye out but i gotta say now that i've actually RUN the two sets i have i wasn't prepared for the length of the set. as is those long cars make quite a train.
