E-Z track systems

Got my grandson a train set for Christmas that can with the steel track. But most of the expansion sets have nickel silver track. Can these different tracks be used together?

I'm going to assume that 'can' should have been 'came'.

However the answer to your question is yes.  The steel and Nickle/Steel can be used in tandem.  The N/S will wear longer.  Or so I am told.

Yes, they CAN!

The Nickle Silver conducts electricity poorer, but stays cleaner longer.
