Looking through the windows years ago is what inspired me to do these set-ups. I remember my parents taking me downtown to see all the department store displays. They are no longer there. My Grand Kids and Great Grand Kids won't have that opportunity. As for 34th Street, back in the 70's, I worked for E. J. Korvette's. It was on Broadway and 34 St. right across the street from Macy's. I remember Gimball's, too.
On that older Main Street display, for some reason the little "knobs" that pull the things around keep spinning around and the cars and horses end up going backwards. That's why I left them off that one.
I was going to get rid of all my On30 stuff and go back to just HO. I'm glad I kept a few things for the Christmas display.
