I am new to this great hobby, so here goes.I love the ease of Bachmann and the systems. The question is, how many DDC turnouts can I use per 1 easy command controller?

I'm can't say definitively but I can offer a little help maybe.
One, it depends on how many locos you are running. It depends on if you are running them with their lights on and with sound on. It depends on if you are running lighted passenger cars. It depends on if you will be switching your turnouts in pairs or one by one. Those all figure in how much of a drain you will be putting on the E-Z Command system.  
I had turnouts paired up with the same address to go from one oval to another oval to another oval.
I was running three locos with headlights and sound and I had four pairs of turnouts.
I bought the booster because the basic set up wouldn't handle all the locos and flipping pairs of  turnouts at the same time. With the booster, I could do it all.
The three locos alone with lights and sound did fine on their own without bringing the turnouts into the picture.
