That one photo of the GP10s appears to have an abandoned train crew as well.

The GP10 pic looks like it was taken as the locos were being removed. Also, the pics are from that facebook post, so it's not necessarily Terry's fault. Unless I'm mistaken, of cours

This is interesting. I guess it isn't abandoned. It just looked like it to the photographer.  Did ICBX (or is it Youngstown and Southeastern?) change their paint scheme between 2010 and 2015?
There are pics here of 8343.

Then there is this older pic from
https://railroadforums.com/forum/index.php?threads/some-old-slides-rerun.13779/page-3
The heading above it reads: IC 8040-Sold to PAL & renumbered 8343, currently ICBX 8343

The photo  of the "abandoned" 8343 was taken while on the Paducah and Louisville in Kentucky. Not sure of the exact location, but it was an active train on a very active railroad.

I stand corrected. That's on the Y&S, or whatever they're calling it this year. Negley is less than 50 miles from where i live. i"ll have to go see this.

I have ridden the trail on my ebicycle from Northampton to Belchertown where the trail ends now. Battery when I need it.
I am not sure I will be around when the trail reaches that point but it would be nice.

There is another trail that reaches New Haven, CT now. Motels along the way. Another former railroad that use to come through my city to Northampton. Stopped running in 1985.
