DCC Sound

I don't have DCC. Is there a way to control the volume of sound on an engine other than by the power supply?

Put a piece of tape over the speaker holes on the bottom of the tender.

If you have a friend or club in the area with a DCC system you could have them set the volume for you. Once set, it should stay the same when operating on DC.
