Em-1 couplers

Has anyone converted a front coupler of an N scale em-1 to micro trains? I have an em-1 that is missing the piece that holds the coupler in place and I can't seem to find it in the parts department (part 00k04). Any suggestions?

If it's just a flat piece of plastic with a hole in you could make one.
