Dynamis dcc problem

Hi all. I am having a problem with my Dynamis IR receiver.
When you switch the system on, all the lights are on,but it does not communicate with the handheld throttle.
When you unplug the IR receiver from the base station and fit another one,then it communicates again.
If you refit the "broken" one it does not work. All the lights work as usual but no communication at all.
