bachmann turntable noise

I've been using the Bachmann turntable for a while now.   It was easy to install and fairly reliable.  Does have its problems, but the most noticeable is the noise.   As the motor runs, it sounds like that is a boxcar of marbles rolling around inside.   Has anyone found a way to subdue the noise?   Thanks.

I have never seen a quiet running MR turntable. Is the Bachmann turntable louder than the atlas or walthers style turntable? I'm asking because I haven't seen the Bachmann turntable in person.

Mine is noisy too. If you Google Bachmannn Turntables, you can find a number of videos and they all sound about the same.

I've had both, and they sound roughly the same. I think the Bachmann is slightly quieter because the plastic is thicker.

Thanks for your input all....nice to know that mine is not the only one that makes the noise....but i wish there was a way to quiet things down.
