Hello, have sante fe train set from the mid 90's, plain coupler held on to truck by tiny screw.
please let me know where they can be purchased.

Sounds like talgo truck cars. Not much of that style being used anymore. Most everything has body mounted couplers.

Your cost is probably gonna be whatever you can find some old cars on EBay for, and scavenge them for parts.
