Locomotive Wire Loose in Wheel Assembly

Hi All. New here. We have an old Bachmann HO set of trains. Everything was working fine yesterday until I was messing around with the locomotive wheels to see if they could be lubricated more. We have an older Sante Fe loco. The red and silver one. As I pulled off the front wheel assembly, the black wire became loose from it's solder. I can't find how to remove more of the wheel assembly in order to re-solder the wire. Any diagrams or advice on how to do that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
