Bachmann HO 2-8-0 UP 721 stock #11411 -- is it DCC Ready?

Good Day folks,

I have a simple question about Bachmann HO 2-8-0 Union Pacific 721 (Stock # 11411).

Is this loco DCC ready out of the box?

Locomotive was manufactured DCC Ready with NMRA medium 8-pin socket in tender.  The Bachmann Item # 11411 indicates the locomotive is over 15 years old. Be cautions when buying any locomotive that old particularly a used one.

Without parts diagram for 11411 you are using ASSUME to use HO BALDWIN 2-8-0 CONSOLIDATION DCC READY - Series 836xx is DCC Ready.

I figured so but he did say DCC ready.
If he opens the tender and sees an eight pin socket and the two cables connecting the loco and render I would assume ready for a decoder.
It might even have the DC adapter in the socket.
A couple Bachmann locos I ordered some years ago had the adapter in the socket.
He could even call the Parts department.

If you search the HO forums, Yampa Bob and Jim Banner use to have a lot to say about the 2-8-0 some years ago. Maybe almost that long ago.
