DCC decoder

I have a Bachmann Spectrum steam locomotive that is "DCC Ready". What decoder will work and where can I get it? It's a N&W J series locomotive.

Any NMRA compliant decoder will work. Your locomotive will likely have the 8 pin socket for connection.

Next question to ask yourself is do you want sound or just motor and light control?
