Okay so here are my discontinuation predictions I really don't wanna see most of these gone but I am pretty sure the following products have a good chance of not being in the catalog
Sodor diesel co tanker
Blinking light house
Peco tooling ng open wagon
Yellow rheneas

Now I don't wanna see the scenery discontinued but I do think it may happen this year
We still have the sheds which I am glad were brought back

TrainFan97

I had to cancel my preorders for the N Scale Emily set, as well as the Narrow Gauge slate wagon repaints. Because I really need to save money after all I spent on Christmas. I'll plan on getting N Scale Emily, her coaches, and the Narrow Gauge slate wagon repaints at a much later date.
My wishlist for HO Scale: Stepney, BoCo, Fernando, Norman, Den, Dart, Porter, Samson, Timothy, Whiff, Hiro, Winston, and Green Salty.
My wishlist for N Scale: Edward, Spencer, Flying Scotsman, Duck, Oliver, Mavis, Sidney, 'Arry and Bert.

Actually, I think Yellow Rheneas might be safe. With the Duncan cancellation he serves a color niche. But also he seems to be relatively popular in the UK. More so then regular Rheneas. They just produced a fresh batch for him over there. I don't believe the narrow-gauge line is counted separately like the OO line but I may be wrong? Either way with the UK market in mind I would be personally surprised if it went away anytime soon. I think the other 3 are very safe bets though.
Hoping for bachmann Bradford, Charlie, Norman, Hiro, Nia, and Harvey

Hi all,

The Lighthouse has been discontinued, but the other items have not been. Yellow Rheneas and the Narrow Gauge Open Wagon are still in stock here at Bachmann; the Sodor Diesel Co. Tanker will be restocked later this year.

Thanks for informing that! I know there's a UK store Dusty saw that they had some items on discount, and we weren't sure if both the lighthouse and Sodor Diesel Co tankers were off. Got both items after hearing that, but at least was prepared.

Yeah there was a store that said both were discontinued during the summer, but seems it was a mistake, and they only meant the lighthouse and the tanker was just also on sale on the time. A shame to see the lighthouse go but not particularly surprised by this outcome

New Model Monday was yesterday and once again it comes with some Thomas news. Firstly, they are hoping to have Sir Handel out by late Summer, which is really good. Can't wait to see people get their hands on him. this isn't set in stone, however.

They also talked about the Tidmouth sheds expansions they used to do and how they did not sell well at all and are unlikely to ever return. Also unlikely to ever be brought in for those n scale sheds.

Next, we have a date for the catalog. It should drop online on the 25th, they are hoping to have it physically the same weekend for the train show but that isn't a guarantee. But more importantly they gave a hint for the thomas side. They confirmed that all 3 scales will have an announcement. This is making me more confident we might see a new G scale Loco, maybe Edward for the anniversary? less confident in him compared to Mavis and Rosie due to sheer cost of manufacturing but could be nice

Really sad to hear that as I like the idea on giving extra berths to represent either the 6 or 7 sheds from the TV series. That means the only way to expand the sheds is to buy another set, which I don't think parents would shell unless they're one of those billionaires. I was luck to buy 2 of the kits before they're all gone. I hope Bachmann would keep the current sheds for a while as I know how much the original sells for after they ended that years ago.

One other thing I glossed over so making it a separate post. They talked about Sidney and Mainland Diesel. They said they haven't made much progress yet because they are prioritizing Stanley and fixing Salty. (They did not mention them but finalizing the DCC guys may be part of it as well?) This makes me think they might not do anything for new engines for HO, not even a recolor this coming catalog. If they're still playing catchup they'd probably want to wait until NMRA for a new engine, even an easy project. We know an HO announcement is coming but very likely may end up just being rolling stock, or they're rolling Narrow gauge in with it. Hard to say, we'll see in 11 days.

Wow January 25th huh? The guy in the hobby shop yesterday was right. Coming up fast.
All I want is, Stepney, Boco, Harvey.

They haven't done much work on Sidney or Mainland Diesel yet because they're prioritizing getting Stanley out there, as well as fixing the issues with Salty and finally getting him back out there. Stanley already had a painted sample and he is awaiting shipment. Sir Handel also now has a painted sample and he's officially awaiting shipment for the coming months. In the recent stream, they also showed off the DCC Sound-Fitted Thomas and Percy, and after five years, they too are finally awaiting shipment. Maybe they'll make more DCC Sound-Fitted models for HO Scale.

In the February stream, as Doug goes over the 2025 catalog, he should give updates on products that still don't have samples yet, like the HO Scale Open Carriage, Narrow Gauge Gondolas and Gunpowder Wagons, and N Scale Diesel/Paxton and Express Coaches. The High-Side Wagons are at least one wave of new Narrow Gauge rolling stock that's awaiting shipment. There may not be much progress on N Scale Henry until they're much further along with Diesel and Paxton.
My wishlist for HO Scale: Stepney, BoCo, Fernando, Norman, Den, Dart, Porter, Samson, Timothy, Whiff, Hiro, Winston, and Green Salty.
My wishlist for N Scale: Edward, Spencer, Flying Scotsman, Duck, Oliver, Mavis, Sidney, 'Arry and Bert.

People have found the slate trucks and N scale Emily set on ebay so they have officially released! Great news to see. No sign of Hannah yet but since she was supposed to be in the batch she's probably out as well. Can't wait to see peoples thoughts on the slate wagons especially.

Adding a separate follow up cause editing the message alone might not be enough for people who already saw it to notice.

I may have been wrong. Trainworld has now put all the second batch, the slate trucks, and Emily set up on their website. Gordon is already out of stock, unsurprisingly!

However, Hannah is weirdly not listed. She has a preorder page now with a date for september, normally Trainworld preorder estimated availabilities are not correct so I don't think she will necessarily be that late. But was she perhaps delayed because she has not seemed to be listed alongside the other items as released. May be an error on trainworlds end, not sure, she also hasn't been found on ebay yet.

Just wanted to say she may be unreleased because I jumped the gun in the previous post. Hopefully if she was delayed it isn't a major one and she can release alongside some of the other planned 2025 products.
