using ez track for the first time with the dcc system. I am having problems removing the track connectors so I can isolate a block of track. I have an opposing loop. Any Help?
Thank you

I haven't found a way yet to take the rail joiner off without destroying it. Just take a pair of pliers and pull.

Atlas makes both nickel silver and plastic (for block isolation) rail joiners.  They are both very INexpensive so losing/damaging the original one is not a big deal.  BTW you want code 100 (SIZE) joiners.

Atlas  also makes terminal joiners - the joiner with a wire soldered on if you don't want to use the Bachmann EZ track wires.  This would be easier to do when isolating a block (and more inconspicous).  I believe they retail for about $2 a pair.

This posting deals with HO scale since you didn't mention one.

Atlas rail joiners work for both code 100 and code 87 for both the metal and the plastic.  There are also transition joiners to join the two codes.
