Northeast caboose parts??

I only see loco parts listed on the parts page for N scale. I need the underbody/sill with steps. 2 pcs.
Are they available to buy?

I don't see them on the Bachmann site for parts.
Look at eBay, or a train show for a donor caboose.
Many other options for a caboose other than Bachmann.

This does bring-up a good question.  Does Bachmann sell parts for anything other than locos and trollies?  Many of their passenger cars are getting very expensive, so repair rather than replace seems like the best option.  And, getting expensive "donor" cars for parts is not a good option, either.  I can buy such parts from other manufacturers, so I think Bachmann could provide them,

Haven't looked but is Shapeways an option?

You could try calling the parts department directly. I've heard that they can sometimes provide parts that are not listed on the website.

Dear All,
When a loco or trolley is delivered we get a percentage unassembled to provide parts.
When the supply is exhausted we won't get parts until the item is re-run.
We don't stock parts for rolling stock, but they can occasionally be available from broken sets.
Call the parts department to find out.

 There is a part # for the bottom/sill of the NE caboose. Printed in white on the underside; K151008.
