does anyone solder there EZ track?

I have read of some who have done this both in HO and N.
Personally, I do not see the need to do so.
I have a test track Figure 8 made from EZ track up for 9 years now.
12.5r with a 60° crossing, that's 13.3 feet of track using only one feeder.
To this day, I've never had a dead or low voltage problem place anywhere on it.
The voltage drop, over those 13 feet, is negligible.

Unless you're quite proficient at soldering, you're going to ruin a lot of track.

have done 18 joints and only partially melted one tie got a little shaky so I put the solder gun down. Running about 32 feet of track. Thanks for the input.
