Hi

Can anyone tell me how to install a sound decoder

It's not a plug-in install, so you'd have to remove the stock decoder board and then solder the wires for track power and motor control to a sound decoder. The headlight LED is actually part of the stock decoder board, so you'd need to wire up your own LED if you want a headlight.

The whole board is the decoder, so basically you'd just remove it entirely.

Mark    I am sorry to take your time but I am confused   On this unit there is rail pickup only on one side  the red side  that is why I thought I should solder  the new decoder wires to the  solder inlets on the surface of the master board example R,M+,LF-,L+LB-,M-L-
