track dimension

I am just wondering if anyone could tell me the radius dimension on the 18 degree curved track that comes standard in the Thunder Chief HO set? I cannot find anything on the box or in the instructions. I am trying to use the Anyrail program to plan a layout and there are two different 18 degree curved tracks listed in the library. 71.12 and 84.46 cms. Which one comes in the set?

The set comes with 18" radius curves, each curve is 30 degrees.

Track radius should be measured between the rails.  The width of a full circle including the roadbed is about 38 inches.


I apologize if that doesn't help, I use XTrkCAD for my layout.

      36 x 3.14
C = 113.04"
Each segment is 1/12 of the circle.
113.04 / 12 = 9.42" per segment
9.42" is approximately 23.93cm
