Northern 4-8-4 & 52' Tender

I have set up my lay-out with E-Z track and switches.  When I try to run my 4-8-4 the leading trucks jump the track.  What do I need to do to correct this?

Dear Peanut,
Check your rail joints to be sure they're smooth and connected properly. Then check the wheel gauge of the pilot wheels.
