Changing the under frame on an 0-6-0 saddle tank switcher

Has anyone ever changed the underframe on an 0-6-0 saddle tank switcher and if so was it difficult?

May I ask what you want to do & why?

If it's the Spectrum model, it should just be a couple of screws. Flip the loco on it's back, remove the two screws and wiggle the underframe straight up. Don't disturb the wheel sets. Make sure the wiper fingers go into their proper places when fitting the new one. Replace the screws and done.

I tore one apart to paint and detail years ago, but can't be quite certain.
