Compatibility 2 truck climax and mrc tech 6 2.0 controller

I just installed sound module in the 2 truck climax and did not get any sound response using mrc tech 6 controller 2.0.  Was wondering if there are any unique settings that must be changed or if there is an incompatibility with these two products?

First:

It is very easy to install these sound modules upside-down.  Make sure you have installed the module with all the electronics pointing up.

Second:

It is very important that the locomotive has its original factory settings, especially DCC address set at 03, before installing the sound module.

If you locomotive was responding to your brand of controller, before the module, then it should respond with the module installed.
