Adding to “the general” kit, cont responding to Jonathan

Thanks for your reply about adding more power connections.  The only question I have is, if I add another railer with jack for power tab, on the other end of the connector line there is only one jack in the speed controller.  How do I "hook up" this additional line onto the speed controller?

A simple solution for you may be to get one terminal rerailer with a wire and one 10 foot power extension cable.

You can cut one end off each and splice them together; so it will plug into the other side of your original rerailer, and connect it to the new one on the opposite side of the loop.
