spectrum 70 ton switcher side frame pin solution

Hey guys!!

My little switcher hit the floor!!  Busted the pins coming out of the truck that holds the side frame on! does any body have a fix for this.  Factory is out of trucks and parts, so I have to find a solution.

are they metal or plastic?

Thanks heaps!  These are the plastic ones.   I'm thinking to make new ones from rod stock and put them on the side frame side and press them in that way!  Might that work?  Thanks again!!
