Does not appear to have sound, you could add it if you choose.

This model is available with DCC already installed, but no sound. You could add the sound decoder and speaker of your choice, there should be holes in the bottom of the tender for the speaker. The cost of adding sound is roughly $120-$150 depending on what exactly you install. If you are unable to install it yourself, hobby shops and others may do so, expect to pay $50-75 for the service.
