70 ton 3 truck Climax Loco (DCC) #82902

I just bought a new to me Climax three truck loco with DCC (no sound) #82902.....the piston runs fine but the drivelines won't turn in either the forward or reverse mode. I can get a little movement in reverse but only for a nano-second. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Search this HO forum for "Climax gears". You'll figure it out. The spare parts are for sale in the parts store. If the trouble is in the gear tower itself, good luck. Most other problems are readily repaired using Bachmann parts.

Hint.....don't buy used crap.
