Do the new Bachmann locomotives need to be lubed before running for the first time?  it does not say anything on the sheet.

Dear Spike,
As some locos may have been on a dealer's shelf for some time, a light oil-around is a good idea.

Dear Bachmann,

Could you please expand on lubrication requirments? That is, what all needs lubricated and with what and what needs to be taken apart or removed to lubricate internals. I run the Spectrums 4-6-0's and 2-8-0's.

Russ, a simple search in this forum will show at least ten sets of instruction on lubing steam locomotive models.
