Can someone explain what is the difference between EZ track Turn outs sections but identified as #4, #5, and #6. Why are these numbers for ?

The number of the switch indicates how far along the straight track you travel for the turning track to bet 1 inch from the straight track. For example in a #5 switch you travel 5 inches along the straight track, then the turning track (diverging route) will be 1 inch from the straight track.
